Not by Power nor Mighty

The Spoken Word is the Original Seed

So much has been spoken about the Third Pull Ministry promised through William Marrion Branham, but none has scratched its surface. It is in vain to try to scratch the surface of a piece of diamond using your knife!

Not by Might, not by Power

Look, Moses in all his mighty, knocking Pharaoh over and again, only helped to tighten his grip upon Israel. That is exactly how sin and death behave. No amount of power will loosen the least chain of sin from any least sinner! All the knocking of power, mighty and strength only strengthens sin and hardens the sinner! Finally, Moses gave up having exhausted all his mighty.

Think about it ye people who are deceived in your camps of the law of knowledge, boasting in your shame. No amount of the works of the law can loosen the weakest chain of sin from any sinner. It only hardens the chains and makes the sinner a twofold child of hell. No matter what power of knowledge, no matter the eloquence, no matter the display of miracle after miracle; that can only harden sinners in their sin. No matter how many dead people are raised from the grave, no sinner will genuinely repent and be saved by seeing that. No! never! You are mistaken; you are simply cheated! That is not the third pull! If you think the promised third pull is a display of that kind of power, then the devil already knows everything about it, so what are you trying to hide from him in the name of the third pull weapon to catch the big fish. Forget about it! You are simply cheated! What God calls power, men call weakness, they look at it as being naïve. But what saith the third pull that is revealed among you?

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth. Zechariah 4:6-7

There is the greatness of the third pull ministry! It passes upon you, and you know nothing about it! Not by that power which men call power; not by what you call mighty, not what you call strength! You are simply deceived into that kind of seeing. That is not the third pull sword.

Come with me again and see; what is the third pull meant to do? To catch the big fish. What is bigness in the sight of God? Oh, be careful now, for I see your mind go for something mighty, some great cherub. My! Already deceived! That is not it! The third pull is meant to catch the rainbow trout, great big salmon, yes! But be careful as you set your mind about it. What you call great fish, God calls the little insignificant things, just useless. But what God calls great fish, you call the little nothings, confusing people around. "What are these feeble Jews doing, even that which they built, if a fox tried to climb on, it will collapse." There is how men will say about the third pull ministry! The Day of small things. The day of the Lord. The thing which angels passes over, not discovering it... not noticing it... so hidden! The Seventh Seal Ministry!

Oh, yes, great is the mystery of godliness! A great mystery means most hidden. Then where does God hide Himself according to the message of Branham? In simplicity! In little nothings! In little babes! In foolishness!

You can easily hear them say, “These people are not even ashamed to claim that the third pull is among them! That is just confusion! The great third pull! The great sword of the King!”

Oh, please, you people, humble yourselves and learn of me, “for I am meek and lowly in heart and you will find rest in your souls.”

But look at it again. What delivered the firstborns of Israel from bondage was the Passover lamb that was slain. And before the third pull sword ever struck the firstborns of Egypt, it had already struck the Passover lamb. Don’t you see it in the Garden of Gethsemane? Before the sword ever struck through the prince of the power of darkness, it had already cut through the Passover lamb, while in the Garden, separating blood and water!

Look, the third pull is to save the big fish. That is how it will pass on you without you seeing a particle about it! that is how great it is! That is God’s greatness! Be careful how you hear, for men will deceive you by vain words! Look! What is the end of the third pull? To catch the rainbow fish!

Look at it again. What was Moses’ third pull in Egypt? The Passover lamb! All power failed! All mighty came to naught! All strength failed! All miracles failed! All the display of power missed it completely! A sinner in chains can never be helped by any amount of power, might or strength. You know that so well. It took the blood of the Passover lamb to free Israel from Egypt. And there is the mystery of the promised third pull. When that third pull sword rips through his heart, then surely the thoughts of many hearts like himself are going to be revealed! It is by the sword of the king ripping through his own heart, a lamb slain from the foundation of the world, slain by the king’s sword, spilling the thoughts of many hearts, then the sons of God shouted for joy. Oh, then what a roar! Yes, look at the third pull of Moses and learn the parable. Don’t be deceived, please. Consider the message closely. God hiding in simplicity and revealing Himself from within.

Look, where is the third pull sword first used, if you have wisdom, then say it? When we talk of the great third pull, many flocks quickly think in terms of power. They think of the dead rising, the lame walking, the blind seeing, stopping storms, creating things and so forth. They are deceived! They are cheated by their knowledge. Jesus displayed all that to the nation of Israel, and not one-millionth of them were amused by it, leave alone believing and being saved! Those are the third pull signs, signs pointing to the actual thing somewhere else! Whee, forget all about that kind of power!

Look at Moses’ ministry in the wilderness. What power he displayed! How he could divide the Red Sea; how he could bring water out of a rock; how he could feed them with manna on daily basis, and quills without measure. How he could open the earth and sink the rebellious; send plaques, serpents and so forth, consuming thousands of them. Did that help any sinner among them? No, never! For all that came from Egypt knowing right and wrong, he only got two… Caleb and Joshua. Just a little fish like the very lure till he wondered how it was caught. I hope you know what it means. Moses with all his so-called third pull power, caught a fish that was so small that one wonders how it got there. How did it swallow the hook, to begin with! Out of two million males, only two truly believed it, the rest were just Laodiceans!
